Doubled Die Obverse Morgan Dollar, AU58
1888-O $1 Doubled Die Obverse AU58 PCGS. VAM-4. A Top 100
Variety. A wonderful example of the famous "Hot Lips" variety,
listed on page 219 of the 2009 Guide Book. Liberty's lips
and nose show prominent doubling. VAM-4 is scarce in all grades,
and is rare in About Uncirculated and finer, with Uncirculated
pieces virtually unobtainable. This lightly frosted specimen is
minimally abraded, and shows only insignificant weakness on the
hair and eagle's breast, as typically seen. A pleasing and
