1888-O $1 MS66 ★ NGC. CAC. Great reflectivity for a coin not assessed as Prooflike, and a large component of why this coin received a Star designation. Yellow-to-orange peripheral hues yield quickly to mirrored silver interiors. A question-mark-shaped area of deep toning descends from a reed mark between STATES and OF on the reverse.(Registry values: P4, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2556, PCGS# 7184, Greysheet# 7548)
