1888-S $1 MS65 ★ NGC. The 1888-S with a mintage of only 657,000 coins, is one of those dates that seems to fly under the radar of all but the most avid Morgan dollar specialists. This issue deserves a great deal of respect, especially in Gem or finer grades. This lovely specimen is brilliant and lustrous with reflective, nearly prooflike fields.
