Description

Radiant 1888-S Gem Dollar

1888-S $1 MS65 PCGS. A medley of aqua-blue, lavender, and golden-tan patination adorns radiantly lustrous surfaces, and a well directed strike brings out sharp impressions on the design elements. A handful of tiny, grade-consistent handling marks are well concealed within the toning. This issue is one of the scarcer Morgan dollars of its era. Anything finer becomes difficult to locate.(Registry values: P6, N2998)
