Description

1889-CC Morgan Dollar, MS62
Spectacular Cartwheel Effect

1889-CC $1 MS62 PCGS. VAM-2. Ex: Desert Find. An excellent balance of field reflectivity and frosty luster adorn this piece, illuminating brilliant frost-white luster throughout. A sharp strike prevails throughout the design elements, especially on the reverse wreath and eagle's plumage. Scattered light abrasions are mostly on the obverse, especially in the fields and on Liberty's cheek, but are not bothersome for the grade. In fact, eye appeal is excellent for the MS62 level, and this coin is yet to be seen by CAC.

The date crack is prominent on this VAM-2 example, extending past the 9 about halfway to the star. The dies are still in their unclashed state, before the state designated VAM-2A.(Registry values: P9, N4719)
