1889-CC $1 -- Stained -- NGC Details. AU. Although an
overall soft lavender-gray patina of questionable origin covers
both sides, small windows of reflectivity emerge when this lightly
circulated 1889-CC silver dollar is rotated under a light. Only a
few tiny marks are seen upon inspection with a strong loupe. This
coin will be a welcome addition to many Morgan dollar or Carson
City collections, filling an important key slot in a well-formed
circulated set.
