1889-CC Silver Dollar, XF40
Original Patina, Key Issue

1889-CC $1 XF40 NGC. VAM-2. VAM-2 shows a raised 9 and the CC mintmark rests slightly further to the right. Silver-gray surfaces reflects deep-gray toning around the raised devices with a few faint tinges of sky-blue, lilac and amber in the fields. Light abrasions consistent with the XF grade level are present but there are no heavy marks. This well-preserved piece is lightly circulated and displays original surfaces and good design definition.(Registry values: P9, N1793)
