Description
Key 1889-CC Morgan Dollar, XF45
1889-CC $1 XF45 PCGS. With an extremely low original mintage of 350,000 pieces, the 1889-CC is the rarest Carson City Morgan dollar by a wide margin. The present coin shows only slight wear on the highest points of the design. There are a minimum number of abrasions for the grade, and the surfaces are accented by light shades of lilac. A truly attractive and more affordable example of one of the great keys in the Morgan dollar series.(Registry values: P9, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2559, PCGS# 7190, GSID# 7554)
