Splendid Gem 1889-O Silver Dollar
1889-O $1 MS65 PCGS. Although the 1889-O Morgans were struck in enormous quantities--11.9 million coins--most of them were apparently released into 19th century circulation. Gems are elusive, and anything finer is seldom seen. This piece offers splendidly lustrous silver-white surfaces with tremendous flash and eye appeal. The central strike softness on both sides is nearly universal for the issue.
