Lustrous Gem 1889-O Morgan
1889-O $1 MS65 PCGS. Light caramel-gold toning graces this thoroughly lustrous New Orleans Gem. The fields are exceptionally free from abrasions, and the portrait has only a few faint thin marks. The centers show typical O-mint incompleteness. The 1889-O is fairly available in undistinguished Uncirculated grades, but Gems are decidedly elusive.(Registry values: P6, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255A, PCGS# 7192, GSID# 7556)
