Description
Charming 1889-S Dollar, MS66
1889-S $1 MS66 NGC. The cheek of Liberty is smooth and problem-free, and each side shows a lovely mixture of champagne and lilac toning with strong underlying mint frost. Highly elusive so fine. This issue is commonly associated with the Redfield Hoard, but the overall quality and striking characteristics apparent here are inconsistent with those coins.
