1889-S Morgan Dollar, MS66
Radiant Frost Luster

1889-S $1 MS66 PCGS. This brilliant silver San Francisco branch mint Morgan dollar has dashes of light gold at the peripheries. Only sparsely scattered and grade consistent light contact marks are seen. Radiant frosty luster illuminates the surfaces. The 1889-S Morgan dollar was once a rarity in all grades, but subsequent uncovered hoards made lower Mint State grades more available, although the issue remains very scarce in Premium Gem Uncirculated grades. PCGS Population: 120 in 66 (20 in 66+), 2 finer (3/26).(Registry values: P6, N2998)
