MS66 1889-S Dollar
With Cartwheel Luster

1889-S $1 MS66 PCGS. The 1889-S is a difficult but obtainable issue in most Mint State grades, despite a low initial mintage of only 700,000 coins. The present example is a marvelous Premium Gem specimen, with radiant cartwheel luster and mostly silver-white surfaces, with just a tinge of pink on the eagle's left (facing) wing. Visible contact marks are few and minor. Population: 61 in 66, 1 finer (2/10).
