1890 $1 MS65 PCGS. Strongly lustrous with above-average detail for this mid-date Philadelphia issue. The obverse offers dusky gold-orange and jade patina, while the reverse shows similar peripheral colors around an untoned center. While available as a Gem, the 1890 is extremely rare any finer; PCGS has certified just one such coin (8/07).(Registry values: P4, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255C, PCGS# 7196, GSID# 7504)
