Brilliant MS63 1890-CC 'Tail Bar' Dollar
1890-CC $1 Tail Bar MS63 PCGS. VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. Fortunately for collectors, the 'Tail Bar' variety is not significantly scarcer than the regular 1890-CC dollar. The 'bar' (actually a die gouge) is strong and easily seen with the unaided eye. A brilliant coin, the surfaces are bright and lustrous. The abrasions that account for the MS63 grade are almost all located on the obverse.(Registry values: P6)Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 87198, Base PCGS# 7198, GSID# 241022)
