Description

Famous Tail Bar 1890-CC Dollar MS64

1890-CC $1 Tail Bar MS64 PCGS. VAM-4. A Top 100 Variety. Unlike most VAM varieties, the Tail Bar is visible to the unaided eye. The broad die gouge connects the fletchings to the wreath beneath. With or without a Tail Bar, the 1890-CC is a better Carson City issue, significantly scarcer in Mint State than the 1891-CC. This lustrous and brilliant near-Gem has clean fields and a few minor marks on the cheek. Population: 71 in 64, 2 finer (5/10).(Registry values: P6)
