    Description

    Condition Rarity 1890-S MS67 Dollar

1890-S $1 MS67 PCGS. Ex: Jack Lee 1/Jack Lee 2. The 1890-S dollar is available through the near-Gem level, and even Gem examples can be located without too much trouble. MS66 examples pose a challenge, and MS67 coins are rare.
This Superb Gem displays partially prooflike fields that yield modest variance with the devices when the coin is tilted slightly beneath a light source. Most of the design elements are in receipt of a well executed strike, with only the hair over Liberty's ear showing minor softness. The surfaces of both sides are essentially untoned, and are devoid of all but the most trivial marks. Population: 6 in 67, 0 finer (11/08).
