Description

1891 $1 MS64 PCGS. Cobalt-blue, purple, gold, and gray-mauve patination adorns the lustrous surfaces of this attractive near-Gem. A small mark or two on Liberty's cheek apparently precludes Gem classification. Well struck save for weakness in the hair at Liberty's ear.(Registry values: P6, N991)
