Description
Vibrant Gem 1891 Morgan Dollar
1891 $1 MS65 PCGS. From a large mintage of nearly 8.7 million pieces, the 1891 Morgan dollar suffered from poor production values. The issue is scarce at the Gem level, and very rare in any grade above MS65. The present coin is sharply struck, with unusually vibrant luster. The surfaces are brilliant throughout with no hint of color. Population: 98 in 65, 3 finer (10/09).(Registry values: P6, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255G, PCGS# 7204, GSID# 7506)
