Elusive Gem 1891 Morgan Dollar
1891 $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1891 Morgan is a scarce issue in high grades, despite a mintage of more than 8.5 million coins. For unknown reasons, survivors are nearly always marred with abrasions, and virtually pristine pieces like this brilliant white example are infrequently encountered.
