1891-CC $1 MS64 NGC. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. The so-called "Spitting Eagle," named for a die gouge in close proximity to the eagle's beak. Brightly lustrous centers are largely silver-white with just a touch of blue. Hints of gold are visible at the margins. Well struck and desirable.(Registry values: P6, N991)
