Description
Lustrous 1891-CC Dollar MS65
1891-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-3. A Top 100 Variety. Light brick-red patina visits the upper reverse margin, but this lustrous Carson City dollar is generally untoned. The fields are well preserved, and Liberty's cheek has only a few faint grazes. The mintmark is lightly repunched, but VAM-3 is better known as the "Spitting Eagle" for the die lump beneath the beak.(Registry values: P6, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255H, PCGS# 7206, Greysheet# 7568)
