Popular Mintmarked Type Coin
1891-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. Always in demand because of the
popular Carson City mintmark, the 1891-CC is a favorite of mintmark
type collectors. The present coin is a lustrous, attractive Gem,
with abundant eye appeal. In his series reference, Q. David Bowers
warns collectors to cherrypick a specimen with sharp striking
details, and this coin will fit the bill on that score. Fine detail
is present on all design elements. On close inspection, a few minor
