Description

Exceptional 1891-O Gem Dollar

1891-O $1 MS65 NGC. David Bowers (2006), says: "The 1891-O is the worst struck of all Morgan dollars. Some are flat at the centers." The Gem in this lot displays an above average strike, as at least partial definition is visible in the hair at Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers. Highly lustrous surfaces are essentially untoned, and are well preserved for the grade designation.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
