    Description

1892 $1 MS65 PCGS. For the first time in the Morgan series, the 1892 Philadelphia mintage was smaller than any of the branch mint silver dollar mintages. This is a brilliant Gem example -- sharply struck for the issue, with a few superficial scuffs and marks in the obverse fields, but a clean cheek on Liberty. Frosted mint luster provides strong eye appeal. Rare just one full grade level finer -- PCGS reports only 10 pieces in MS66 or finer (10/19).(Registry values: P6, N2998)

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
