Description

1892-CC $1 MS63 PCGS. A die chip rests atop the lower right serif of the 2 in the date. This example is bright and brilliant, with semi-reflective fields. Sharply struck with numerous trivial field marks that limit the grade. A nice Select example of this elusive Carson City issue, which went unrepresented in the great Treasury hoard releases of the 1960s and 1970s.(Registry values: P7, N991)
