Description

Near-Gem 1892-CC Morgan Dollar

1892-CC $1 MS64 NGC. A reported mintage of 1.35 million silver dollars was accomplished at the Carson City Mint in 1892, large in the context of Carson City issues. Q. David Bowers considers MS64 the Optimal Collecting Grade for this issue, as it combines good visual appeal with reasonable cost. The present coin is sharply struck, with delightful sea-green and lavender toning at the peripheries.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
