Description

High-End MS64 1892-CC Dollar

1892-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. A popular issue from the final years of the Carson City Mint, and a difficult one to encounter in nice shape, the 1892-CC is often seen bagmarked. The issue is otherwise well-produced, however. This example offers frosty silver-gray surfaces with good cartwheel luster. The strike is somewhat soft on the hair above the ear, and some old die clashing is noted on the reverse. A nice one, close to Gem quality.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
