Remarkable Prooflike Near-Gem 1892-CC Dollar
1892-CC $1 MS64 Prooflike NGC. A gorgeous Choice representative of this later Carson City dollar issue, well-defined with distinctly reflective fields. Neither side shows much patina, though the obverse rims offer a hint of gold. Minor, scattered marks account for the grade. NGC has certified just three finer Prooflike pieces (8/09).(Registry values: P7, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255M, PCGS# 7215, GSID# 7605)
