Description

Notable Gem 1892-CC Dollar

1892-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. As a later date among Carson City Morgan dollars, the 1892-CC was little-represented in the GSA holdings, and high-grade survivors are elusive. Anything finer than this Gem is a condition rarity. The boldly impressed design elements are wonderfully frosted, and the fields have strong luster beneath gold-gray toning that yields to violet and blue-green near the rims.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
