Description
Fantastic Gem 1892-CC Dollar
1892-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. This later Carson City issue was not as well-represented in GSA releases as many of its earlier peers, and the date is conditionally rare any finer, with just 20 such pieces graded by PCGS (8/09). This shining, slightly frosty Gem is well struck with touches of gold-orange toning, most notably at the lower obverse rim. An abrasion is noted to the left of the eagle in a lightly gray-toned area.(Registry values: P7, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255M, PCGS# 7214, GSID# 7604)
