Description

Appealing 1892-CC Dollar, MS65

1892-CC $1 MS65 PCGS. While many Mint State 1892-CC Morgans are flat in the centers and heavily bagmarked (David Bowers, 2006), the Gem we present in this lot displays excellent technical quality and aesthetic appeal. All of the design elements have benefited from a well executed strike, including the hair at Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers. Partially prooflike fields highlight lightly frosted motifs, and essentially untoned surfaces are well preserved.
