Description
1892-CC Morgan Dollar, MS66
Conditionally Scarce at This Grade Level
1892-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. Of the 1.3 million dollars struck in
Carson City in 1892, those that did not circulate were either sent
to the San Francisco Mint or the Treasury Building in Washington
and stored for many years. Bags were paid out over the years with
an estimated 50 bags released in 1955 alone. Even as late as 1982,
it was still believed large quantities were available. However
available the 1892-CC may be in lower grades, it is definitely not
an available issue in MS66 condition. This is a remarkably smooth
example with completely brilliant surfaces and the radiant mint
luster one would expect for a CC dollar. Fully struck. Population:
37 in 66 (5 in 66+), 3 finer (2/19).(Registry values: P7, N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255M, PCGS# 7214)
Weight: 26.73 grams
Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.View More Testimonials
