1892-O $1 MS64 NGC. A light ring of amber-gold encircles each side of this lustrous near-Gem, a popular issue produced to the extent of only 2.7 million pieces in the year before the Panic of '93. The strike through the center is soft, revealing considerable roller marks on each side, the product of incompletely struck planchets.(Registry values: P7, N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255N, PCGS# 7216, GSID# 7606)
