1892-O Silver Dollar, MS65
Few Finer Pieces Are Known
1892-O $1 MS65 PCGS. This Gem 1892-O Morgan is about as fine
as the issue is typically available, and Liberty's cheek is
particularly clean. Nonetheless, the strike is weak -- almost
unavoidable on this New Orleans issue -- and mint-made roller marks
remain visible on the portrait with weakness above the ear and on
the eagle's breast. Although nearly untoned, there are hints of
light golden color on each side. PCGS lists only 10 numerically
finer non-Prooflike coins (9/21).From The N.E. Lincoln Collection.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
