Attractive VAM-2 Example
1892-O $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-2. Availability of the 1892-O
Morgan dollar drops dramatically at the Gem grade level and finer
pieces are conditionally scarce. This VAM-2 Gem exhibits vibrant,
frosty mint luster on brilliant surfaces with excellent
preservation. The strike is soft in the center and a loupe reveals
faint roller marks over the ear and on the eagle's breast feathers,
characteristics that are not uncommon for the issue. The fields are
remarkably unabraded and complement an outstanding cartwheel
