Description

1892-O Silver Dollar, MS65+
End-of-Roll Obverse Toning

1892-O $1 MS65+ PCGS. Lovely orange-gold, violet, and blue toning appears over portions of the obverse, leaving the reverse stone-white. This coin is frosty and well-preserved, with a near-pristine cheek on Liberty. It may have qualified for an even finer grade were it not for the typically weak on the central strike. A partial print appears in the toning on Liberty's neck and in the adjacent field, which attests to the coin's originality. Finer non-prooflike examples are elusive. PCGS Population: 56 in 65+, 15 finer (4/26).(Registry values: P7, N2998)
