Semi-Key Issue
1892-S $1 AU53 PCGS. When numismatic conversations turn to
the scarce issues in the Morgan dollar series, the 1892-S is
infrequently mentioned in favor of the 1893-S issue as well as the
1889-CC and the proof-only 1895 dollar. However, the 1892-S is an
important semi-key issue that is elusive in AU or finer grades.
This example has brilliant silver surfaces with slightly reflective
fields and light cameo contrast. Slight wear on the highest design
