Near-Mint 1892-S Morgan Dollar
1892-S $1 AU58 NGC. An attractive and lustrous example of this semikey issue. The 1892-S is relatively plentiful in lower circulated grades, indicating that much of the mintage entered commerce at the time they were struck. Since high grade pieces, especially near-Mint or Mint State examples, are rare, there were probably no hoards of the date.
