Description
Desirable 1893 Morgan Dollar, MS61 Deep Mirror Prooflike
1893 $1 MS61 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. Morgan dollars from this era are very rare with Deep Mirror Prooflike surfaces; and the 1893 Philadelphia Mint issue is no exception. A mere six coins have been certified as such by NGC and PCGS combined, as of (6/08). This coin is attractive and relatively clean, for the grade, with slight cloudiness in the fields and a few minor scrapes and abrasions that limit the grade. The fields are very deeply mirrored, however, and the boldly struck devices are pleasingly frosted on both sides. From the "A Gift of Undeserved Favor" Collection.(Registry values: P7, N991)
