1893 $1 MS64 PCGS. CAC. VAM-2. The top of the 3 is slightly doubled, and that digit is open with its upper loop separated from the center. A low-mintage issue, surviving from a total production of 389,792 coins, many having entered circulation. This wonderful near-Gem has all the quality and aesthetic desirability of a finer grade coin.
