Description

1893 Morgan Dollar, MS64
Low Philadelphia Mintage

1893 $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-3. The 1893 Morgan was the lowest mintage (just 378,000 pieces) of the denomination from the Philadelphia Mint since its introduction in 1878 and third in the series' entire history. This example displays enticing rich silver luster with developing golden patina in its fields. There are a couple roller marks (remaining from a slightly incomplete strike) along with a few abrasions on Liberty's cheek, but they are not overly garish to the piece's appeal.(Registry values: P7, N1793)
