Lovely 1893 Dollar, MS65
1893 $1 MS65 NGC. The year 1893 is remarkable insofar as all four of the Morgan dollar issues bearing this date--including emissions from the mints in Philadelphia, Carson City, San Francisco, and New Orleans--are semikeys or better in the series. This lovely Gem example from the Philadelphia Mint is well struck and untoned, with shimmering mint frost over both sides and minimal marks, as expected for the grade.
