1893-CC $1 AU58 PCGS. VAM-2A....
Description
1893-CC Morgan Dollar, AU58
Final Carson City Issue
1893-CC $1 AU58 PCGS. VAM-2A. This partly lustrous
Borderline Uncirculated example is from the desirable final issue
of Carson City Morgan dollars. Light wear has diminished the frost
on the high points, but much remains and supplements the
well-struck devices for overall pleasing eye appeal. Mostly
brilliant surfaces show slight hues of plum and champagne on the
edges. Only a diagonal mark under Liberty's eye and small nicks
above and below the motto are noted, otherwise the surfaces are
free of significant issues. The variety can be attributed to the
die clash on Liberty's neck and the CC mintmark tilting to the
right.(Registry values: P8, N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255S, PCGS# 7222, Greysheet# 7610)
