1893-CC Morgan, AU58
Final-Year Carson City Issue
1893-CC $1 AU58 PCGS. The 1893-CC Morgan is widely sought
due to its stance as the final silver dollar coined at the Carson
City Mint, but it is also one of the scarcer issues from that
facility in Mint State condition, as only a single representative
was found in the GSA sales of the early 1970s. This near-Mint
example presents the collector with a well-detailed, lustrous
representative. The surfaces are nearly brilliant, save for a blush
of light golden toning around the peripheries. Scattered abrasions
accompany the grade.(Registry values: P8, N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255S, PCGS# 7222)
