Description

Historic 1893-CC Morgan Dollar, MS60

1893-CC $1 MS60 NGC. The 1893-CC is the last silver dollar issue coined at the historic Carson City Mint. The date is most often seen in lower grades, as the coins circulated extensively in the Old West. Mint State coins are scarce, even in lower Uncirculated grades. The present coin is well struck, with the often-seen weakness on the hair above Liberty's ear. The fields are semireflective and the attractive, brilliant centers yield to shades of sea-green and lavender at the borders.(Registry values: P8, N1793)
