Description

Exceptional 1893-CC Dollar, MS62

1893-CC $1 MS62 NGC. This key Carson City issue has an impressively low mintage of only 677,000 pieces. Relatively few Uncirculated coins are extant today, and of the ones that are known many are weakly struck, cleaned, or heavily bagmarked. This is an attractive coin that is sharply struck on each side and accented with light, even lilac-gray patina. Semi-reflective in the fields. There are a few light ticks and luster grazes, but these are not as numerous or severe as is usually the case with this issue.(Registry values: P8, N1793)
