1893-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. The swan song of the Carson City Mint, the 1893-CC Morgans were unfortunately mostly bagmarked from being tossed around roughly. This piece shows few such abrasions, although the cheek displays minor contact beneath the dappled tan-gray patina. PCGS has certified only nine pieces finer--eight in MS65, one in MS66 (4/09).(Registry values: P8, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255S, PCGS# 7222, GSID# 7610)
