Eye-Catching 1893-CC Dollar, MS64
1893-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. This final-year Carson City Mint issue is elusive in Uncirculated grades and rare above Choice Mint State. Deep violet, blue, red, and orange patina covers the obverse, while the reverse has lighter purple, rose, and tan colors around the periphery. Flashy luster radiates beneath the attractive toning. NGC and PCGS combined have certified just 16 examples finer (8/09).(Registry values: P8, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255S, PCGS# 7222, GSID# 7610)
