1893-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. The final-year Morgan dollar issue from the storied Carson City Mint, the 1893-CC is also the last of the great trio of CC key dates in the series. This near-Gem coin boasts silver-white surfaces with satin luster, semiprooflike fields, a good strike, and only a modicum of the abrasions that often plague the issue. PCGS has certified a mere 10 pieces numerically finer (6/10).(Registry values: P8, N2998)
